as a lesbian myself, i am trying so hard to understand he/him lesbians and accept them, but it just seems like an oxymoron. aren’t pronouns gendered? also, if you feel disconnected from your womanhood and feel more comfortable appearing masculine, then doesn’t that just make you butch? i’m confused. i know that back then, lesbians used he/him pronouns to pass as male, and prevent people from finding out they were in a same-sex relationship, but what would be a reason for a lesbian to use he/him pronouns now?
