Straightcian (also known as straight vincian, straightrian, florihet, straightdian, straightric, gayght, gaight, turihet, straidian, or vincihet) refers to someone who identifies as both straight/hetero and vincian/gay man/turian/veldian/floric/uranian.[1] It can refer to:
- Someone who is genderfluid between male and female and is attracted to men. When they are a man, they identify as gay. When they are a woman, they identify as straight.
- Someone who is multigender or otherwise identifies as male and female simultaneously (girlboy) and is attracted to men. They can be attracted to men as a man (gay) and be attracted to men as a woman (straight).
- A homosexual heteroromantic man, or a heterosexual homoromantic man
- Someone who is duosexual and switches between gay/veldian and straight
- A multigender gay feeling like they can define their attraction to men both in straight and gay attraction.
- A transfeminine gay reclaiming both orientations as they can define being both straight and a gay.
- A gay man attracted to or in a relationship with a turigirl.
The fiaspec/femaric equivalent to gayhet is straightbian.
Flag
The straightcian flag was created by fandom user Matthewgrant836 on April 12, 2021. The bottom three stripes of the flag are from the vincian flag while the rest of the stripes form the straight flag.
The second straightcian flag was created by fandom user APixeledWorld on August 28, 2021. The flag resembles the straightbian flag but colored with the vincian flag colors.
The straightrian/florihet flags were created by Tumblr user neopronouns on July 2, 2021.[2]
The gayght flag was created on February 7, 2019 by Tumblr blog Beyond-MOGAI-Pride-Flags.[3]
