Spiritual attraction is a form of attraction based on valuing a particular individual's opinions, emotional and mental reliance, valuing their existence more than others (non-obsessively), desiring partnership or guide-like relationships, spiritual bonding, doing things together exclusively, friendship, possible familial bonds, possible physical affection, performing spiritual practices together, fascination, interest in their persona.[1] It is based on the belief or feeling that such a relationship is “destiny,” or that the object of such attraction once had a relationship with the subject in a “past life” of sorts. In some cases, it can be used as a subset of social attraction- desiring a mentor-student-type relationship with someone based on their strong spirituality.[2] A spirtual attraction crush can be called a spirit or soul.
