- A gender influenced by the sun.
- A gender influenced by a kintype to the sun.
- A gender related to the Greek and Roman god Apollo, the Greek god Helios, or the Roman god Sol.
- A gender influenced by one’s devotion to any of the aforementioned gods.
- A gender that is best explained or identified using the sun.
Sonnegender can also be used as a prefix for other genders, for example, sonneboy, sonnegirl, sonnenonbinary, etc...
