Snakegender is a faunagender connected to snakes, either a specific species, or snakes as a whole. It also can be a gender that feels like a snake, possibly through how its gender moves, or if it feels like how a snake hunts, be it the gender tightening around oneself/their gender, or a type of venom inherent to their gender.

Snakegender was coined by Twitter user @lemonIbarabebs on January 24, 2021.[1]

The flag, also created by Twitter user @lemonIbarabebs, has five stripes, three shades of green, one white, and one red. These stripes represent "Connection to snakes, neurodiversity, love for all kinds of snakes, gender nonconforming identities, and feminine and masculine identities."
