Skyechiligender is a xenogender or fictigender in which one feels a connection to the mobile video game Sky: Children of the Light by That Game Company, often shortened to Sky. It may be felt always or only while playing the game, or be affected by the game in some way. One may feel a connection to the game as a whole or specific aspects, such as the graphics, the music, the gameplay, etc. It is a considered a specific type of gamegender.
History
The term was coined by Kirbirb on January 18th, 2021, and the flag was made on the same day. It was originally called skygender by the coiner, but due to skygender already being a coined term for something else, the name was changed to skychiligender (taking sky, chi- from child, and li- from light) by FANDOM user Reign of the breadsticcs on June 7, 2021.
The colors on the flag are based on a palette seen frequently in the game. White is for the clouds and the candles, green is the grass, blue is for the sky, and the browns are two of the default character colors.
