Darcian

Darcian or romerion is a term that defines hetero attraction to women. It's a term for “straight man”, but not all darcians identify as men. One may simply feel like their attraction aligns with MLW.

It includes non-binary darcians, hetero men, m-spec straights, queerhets, etc.

Its counterpart is called bennetian.

Etymology

The term was named after Mr. Darcy from Pride and Prejudice.

History

The name Darcian was coined on October 6th, 2021 by Soulqueer-Schlatt.^[2] Romerion was coined by Beyond-MOGAI-Pride-Flags on February 23, 2021.^[3]^[4]
