Romance-drained is a romance stance that describes an individual who is repulsed by the act or concept of romantic interaction due to trauma or exhaustion. The term is commonly used by aromantic spectrum individuals, but is not exclusive to this community or romantic orientation.
Romance-drained individuals may find romantic activity undesirable, uninteresting, uncomfortable, or generally unwanted. This is not the same thing as being aromantic.
Individuals who feel repulsed towards romantic interaction due to reasons other than trauma or exhaustion may use the term romance-repulsed.
