Regregender is a gender felt during regression, either with age regression or with pet regression. It can be flux, fluid, or static and may be similar or different than one’s gender when non-regressed, or may be linked to another gender related to the type of regression.

    History

It is unclear when regregender was coined. The term appears, defined as a "gender that’s hard to differentiate/figure out due to being an age regressor," on a list of terms with no known flags in 2017.[1] On August 18th, 2018, kalliepride posted "Regressigender, Regressgender, or Regressusgender," and despite the way they then defined the term as, edited the post to link to the 2017 definition. They said this different definition was a better one and the flag they made could be used for either definition.[2]

The next coiner's Tumblr blog is deleted, but an archived reblog exists dated September 8th, 2020.[3]
