Quassusexual is a term to describe when ones sexuality and sexual preference feels shattered, broken or otherwise tarnished due to trauma, neurodivergence or other reasons, almost "forcing" them to either:
- be attracted to a specific gender(s)
- not be attracted to a specific gender(s)
- to lose most, but not all attraction to a specific gender(s)
This can be any gender(s), even though before their trauma they were not this way. This is different than Caedsexual, as one who is quassusexual may or may not be asexual, their sexual preference had been shattered and broken, forced to be changed, whereas caedsexuals were allosexual,but were forced to be asexual due to trauma. The romantic term is Quassuromantic.
History and Etymology
Quassusexual was coined on March 8th, 2021 by FANDOM user Zer0Rebel4. The name comes from the Latin word Quassus, meaning "shattered, broken".

The quassusexual flags colours represent, Yellow for non-binary and other genders, Red for feminine and female aligned genders, Green for masculine and male aligned genders, Blue for feeling shattered and/or broken, Black for trauma and/or neurodivergence and how its effected the individuals sexual/romantic preference. The design represents the sudden and abrupt breaking/shattering of ones orientation.
