    The phrygigender flag.

Phrygigender is a modegender and musicgender that feels tense and creepy, or relates to the Phrygian mode. One may feel that their gender can only be described using the Phrygian mode. Alternatively, one's gender might change and/or fluctuate while listening to music that uses the Phrygian scale, or while playing an instrument in the Phrygian scale.

    History

The term was coined by Tumblr user synpa-tee on July 27, 2021.[1]

    Flag

The phrygigender flag was created by Wiki user DentalFricative on July 28, 2021.[2] There are nine stripes. The center stripe is black while the stripes above and below it are different values of purple. This is based on the modegender flag, where purple is used to represent the Phrygian mode.
