Penultiromantic refers to someone who is romantically attracted to all genders except one's own. This can refer to binary genders as well as any non-binary genders.
Etymology
The prefix penulti refers to the word “penultimate,” meaning very last or second-to-last.
History and Flag
The current definition of penultiromantic comes from a post on July 4, 2016 by pride-color-schemes.[1]
The penultiromantic flag first appeared in a DeviantArt post by Pride-Flags on May 10, 2016.[2] According to pride-color-schemes, the flag was created by Tumblr user pastelmemer.[3]
The foreground is the penultisexual flag overlaying a black heart in the center of the flag.
