    Paulogénero flag.

    Paulogénero is a xenogender and gamegender in which ones gender is, in some form, connected to the games within the Little Nightmares series. This is both an umbrella term, and a term in of itself. One who is paulogénero has a connection to all the games, characters, and possibly even the comics as well. This may be an aesthetigender in which ones gender is connected to the style of the game/comics, a mutogender that is only felt when playing the game/reading the series, and/or a gender that fluctuates or changes when playing the game/reading the series.

    The many subsets of this gender are listed below. However, if one feels connected to a specific location within the Little Nightmares world, they may add it to the main title. (Example: Paulomaw or Mawgénero.) One may also add this term as a prefix to another gender identity, such as paulogirl, pauloboy, pauloenby, etc.

    If one relates to and experiences multiple of these, they may call themselves multipaulo.

    Paulouno

    Paulouno flag.

    Paulouno or paulone is a subset of paulogénero in which ones gender is connected to the first Little Nightmares game. One with this would feel a connection to all the characters, aesthetics, and gameplay of the first game. This may be an aesthetigender in which ones gender is connected to the style of the game, a mutogender that is only felt when playing the game, or a gender that fluctuates or changes when playing the game.

    One with this gender may also feel like their gender is dark, stalking, mysterious, dangerous, surrounded, chased, possibly even rocking or swaying like an ocean, however this is not a requirement.

    Paulodos

    Paulodos or paulotwo is a subset of paulogénero in which ones gender is connected to the second Little Nightmares game. One with this would feel a connection to all the characters, aesthetics, and gameplay of the first game. This may be an aesthetigender in which ones gender is connected to the style of the game, a mutogender that is only felt when playing the game, or a gender that fluctuates or changes when playing the game.

    One with this gender may also feel like their gender is dark, stalking, mysterious, dangerous, surrounded, chased, watched, static, rainy, and like a tragic friendship, however this is not a requirement.

    Paulosecreta

    Paulosecreta, paulosecreto, or paulosecret is a subset of paulogénero in which ones gender is connected to the DLC Secrets of the Maw. One with this would feel a connection to all the characters, aesthetics, and gameplay of the DLC. This may be an aesthetigender in which ones gender is connected to the style of the DLC, a mutogender that is only felt when playing the DLC, or a gender that fluctuates or changes when playing the DLC.

    One with this gender may feel like their gender is escaping, running, shrowded in mystery, dangerous, surrounded, chased, with a tragic aftertaste, however this is not a requirement.

    Muypaulo

    Muypaulo is a subset of paulogénero in which ones gender is connected to the Mobile game Very Little Nightmares. One with this would feel a connection to all the characters, aesthetics, and gameplay of the game. This may be an aesthetigender in which ones gender is connected to the style of the game, a mutogender that is only felt when playing the game, or a gender that fluctuates or changes when playing the game.

    One with this gender may feel as though their gender is chasing after someone, being chased, is in danger, is adventurous and mysterious, just awoke from a dream, and is small with a negative fate.

    Pauloseries

    Pauloseries is a subset of paulogénero in which ones gender is connected to the comic series of Little Nightmares. One with this would feel a connection to all the characters, aesthetics, and comics of the game. This may be an aesthetigender in which ones gender is connected to the style of the comics, a mutogender that is only felt when reading the comics, or a gender that fluctuates or changes when reading the comics.

    Paulosix: when ones gender feels connected to Six from Little Nightmares. This may be a kingender, aesthetigender, or it may be a gender that feels broken, dark, starving, hungry, desperate, hopeless, and empty. They typically feel connected to femininity, however they don't have to be.

This may be a kingender, aesthetigender, or it may be a gender that feels gentle, kind, considerate, determined, betrayed, and possibly deeply connected to friendship and/or hats. They typically feel connected to masculinity, however they don't have to be.

    PauloRK: when ones gender feels connected to Runaway Kid from Secrets of the Maw. This may be a kingender, aesthetigender, or it may be a gender that feels sneaky, hidden, rushed, chased, determined, friendly, and capable. They typically feel connected to masculinity, however they don't have to be.

    Paulonome: when ones gender feels connected to the Nomes from the Little Nightmares series. This may be a kingender, aesthetigender, or it may be a gender that feels skiddish, kind, fearful, gentle, and hard working.

    PauloYRG: when ones gender feels connected to The Girl in the Yellow Raincoat from Very Little Nightmares. This may be a kingender, aesthetigender, or it may be a gender that feels dexterous, compassionate, small, determined, kind, and intelligent. They typically feel connected to femininity, however they don't have to be.

    Paulopretend: when ones gender feels connected to The Pretender from Very Little Nightmares. This may be kingender, aesthetigender, or it may be a gender that feels dangerous, obsessive, playful, controlling, and connected to dolls and tea parties. They typically feel connected to femininity, however they don't have to be. They also typically fall under the dollyic or dollcoric spectrums.

    Paulocapture: when ones gender feels connected to one or more of the captured children in Little Nightmares or Very Little Nightmares. This could be a kingender, aesthetigender, or it may be a gender that feels captured, cold, lonely, hopeless, and/or desperate for freedom.

    Pauloghost: when ones gender feels connected to Ghost from the Little Nightmares (2021) comics. This could be a kingender, aesthetigender, or it may be a gender that feels sheltered, quiet, compassionate, gentle, afraid, and ghost-like.

    Paulopop: when ones gender feels connected to The Lollipop Kid from the Little Nightmares (2021) comics. This could be a kingender, aesthetigender, or it may be a gender that feels fearful, bullied, surrounded, and connected to candy or other child-like aesthetics. They typically also fall on the dessertgender or kidcore spectrum, however they don't have to be.

    Paulotail: when ones gender feels connected to The Girl With Pigtails from the Little Nightmares (2021) comics. This could be a kingender, aesthetigender, or it may be a gender that feels trapped, small, feverish, tired, and possibly connected to spoons and hospitals. They typically feel connected to femininity, however they don't have to be.

    Pauloguest: when ones gender feels connected to The Guests from Little Nightmares. This could be a kingender, aesthetigender, or it may be a gender that feels gluttonous, obsessive, hungry, dangerous, and careless.     Paulothin: when ones gender feels connected to The Thin Man from Little Nightmares II. They are typically connected to masculinity, or fall on the altegender spectrum, however they don't have to be.

    Pauloviewer: when ones gender feels connected to The Viewers from Little Nightmares II. This could be a kingender, aesthetigender, or it may be gender that feels consumed by TV, hypnotized, empty, unaware of their surroundings, and obedient.

    Paulounder: when ones gender feels connected to the Dump Monster, Shoe Monster, and/or the Granny from the Little Nightmares games. This could be a kingender, aesthetigender, or it may be a gender that feels hidden, sunken under, sneaky, and ready to hunt. Depending if one is connected to a specific one, they may also experience a connection to water, shoes, or garbage.

    Paulonorth: when ones gender feels connected to The North Wind from the Little Nightmares (2017) comics. This could be a kingender, aesthetigender, or it may be a gender that feels spirit-like, dark, connected to wind, evil, and taunting.

    Paulomirror: when ones gender feels connected to the Mirror Monster from the Little Nightmares (2017) comics. This could be a kingender, aesthetigender, or it may be a gender that feels reflective, distorting, evil, and connected to twisted granted wishes, possibly also connecting to abandoned houses.

    Pauloferry: when ones gender feels connected to The Ferryman from the Little Nightmares (2017) comics. This could be a kingender, aesthetigender, or it may be a gender that feels huntful, shrowded in mystery, shape-shifting, and possibly connected to boats or bounty-hunting.

    Paulocrafts: when ones gender feels connected to The Craftsman from Very Little Nightmares. This could be a kingender, aesthetigender, or it may be a gender that feels a connection to craftmanship, clothes, dolls, and possibly connected to ones physical disabilities, making it an exclusive gender some cases.

    Paulobutler: when ones gender feels connected to The Butler from Very Little Nightmares. This could be a kingender, aesthetigender, or it may be a gender that feels a connection to serving, obedience, aggression, hotheadedness, and butlerhood.

    These terms were all coined on March 22nd of 2021 by Cryptocrew (specifically Alex) to describe his gender experiences.

    The paulogénero flag was coined on March 23rd of 2021. The shades of grey represents darkness and evil, while the large figure and the eye represents the large monsters within the story, and the mini figures represents the children within the story.

    The paulouno flag was coined on March 23rd of 2021. The shades of brown represent misery and the murky feeling of the game, while the background design represents The Maw, and the yellow figure represents Six.

    The paulodos flag was coined on March 23rd of 2021. The shades of blue represent misery and despair, the design in the background represents the signal tower, and the figures represent Six and Mono.

    The paulosecreta flag was coined on March 23rd of 2021. The shades of blue represent sadness and desperation, the lighter shades represent hope and times of almost making it, the darker shades represent the tragic truth, and the humanoid figures represent the Runaway Kid and the Nomes.

    The muypaulo flag was coined on March 27th of 2021. The shades of grey represent the darkness of the world, the blue represents tragic hope, and the figure represents The Girl in the Yellow Raincoat.

    Paulo is latin for 'little,' género is spanish for 'gender,' uno is 'one' in spanish, dos is 'two' in spanish, secreta/secreto mean 'secret' in spanish, muy is 'very' in spanish, and cómico/cómica is 'comic' in spanish.
