Oculorusexual is an orientation under the quoisexual umbrella where one cannot tell whether what they feel is sexual attraction or romantic attraction. It is not the same as embrouillesexual, because embrouillesexual is when someone cannot tell the difference between sexual or romantic attraction and aesthetic attraction, whereas oculorusexual is when someone cannot tell the difference between romantic and sexual attraction.
History & Etymology
Oculorusexual was coined by FANDOM user Uncertfied Funny on May 16 of 2021. They coined it after FANDOM user Hello humans lol described their experience and confusion of being unable to tell the difference of romantic and sexual attraction. Uncertified Funny also thought it would help describe their experience with attraction as well.
The term "oculorusexual" comes from the Latin word "oculorum," which means "blurred."
