Neutrablankfluid was coined by Tumblr user nonbiarrow (Reddit user elhazelenby), April 20th 2021. The neutrablankfluid flag was created by the same user on the same date.[1]

The neutrablank flag shows the genderblank flag with green "fizzing" out of the genderblank symbol, dispersing into the blank. The green represents gender neutrality.[2]
