The Nature Systems flag by Reign of the breadsticcs

The Nature Systems are a series of gender alignment systems based on different aspects of nature, and between the four of them, they cover a vast amount of alignments and nature-centered identities. The four systems which belong to The Nature Systems are the Nadurian System, the Sylvian System, the Fleurian System, and the Mystian System. They are all based off different aspects of nature, but all still have a general connection to naturecore, even if they are more specifically connected to certain aspects; and consist of general genders which are aligned, and specific aspect genders which can be combined with the aligned genders from the system. Any and all genders from these four systems can be used as individual genders themselves, or as modifiers to any others from their system.

The Nadurian System consists of genders based on naturecore aesthetics, the Sylvian System consists of genders based on forest aesthetics and an intense, seemingly immeasurable nature-centered gender experience, the Fleurian System consists of genders based on flowercore aesthetics and specific flowers, and The Mystian System consists of genders based on different magical aspects of nature. Since genders from The Mystian System are magical in nature, and not specifically aligned with one kind of nature, they can be used as modifiers for genders from all three of the other Nature Systems. It is the only one of the four Nature Systems which can do that. Each of the systems is based off a distinct aspect of nature, so each one has a different set of terms for general alignment (aka fiaspec, miaspec, xiaspec, etc.)

    The Nadurian System

The main article for this system is the Nadurian System

The first of the systems in The Nature Systems is the Nadurian System. Genders in this system are based around, related to, or aesthetically connected to nature and its aesthetics, which include purity, being free, plants and flowers, sunsets, etc. The genders in this system can be generally related to nature or related to a specific aspect or aspects of nature as well as nature as a whole. The first set of nadurian genders are aligned nature genders and include genders like rhosynian, a fiaspec nadurian gender, eldurian, a miaspec nadurian gender, and cespean, a niaspec nadurian gender. The second set of nadurian genders contains specific nature-related genders such as feurian (a gender related to grass) and nievian (a gender related to snow). If one feels aligned and related to a specific aspect of nature, they could combine a general nadurian alignment gender like rhosynian with a more specific gender like feurian to describe their gender: a rhosynian feurian (or rhosynic feurian) person would be someone who is fiaspec and feels related to nature and specifically grass.

    History

All terms and flags for genders in the Nadurian System were coined throughout the month of February 2021 by FANDOM user Reign of the breadsticcs.

    Etymology

The term 'Nadurian' comes from the Irish word 'nadur' meaning 'nature'.

    The Sylvian System

The main article for this system is The Sylvian System

The second of the systems in The Nature Systems is the Sylvian System. Genders in this system are based around, related to, or aesthetically connected to forests and their aesthetics, which include mystery, peace, intense nature, cottages, trees, and the way light shines almost magically in forests, among others. The genders in this system can be generally related to forests or related to a specific aspect or aspects of forests as well as nature/forests as a whole. The first set of sylvian genders are aligned forest genders and include genders like mistian, a fiaspec sylvian gender, brethrian, a miaspec sylvian gender, and dewian, a niaspec sylvian gender. The second set of sylvian genders contains specific forest-related genders such as ipinean (a gender related to pine forests) and borean (a gender related to arctic forests). If one feels aligned and related to a specific aspect of forests, they could combine a general sylvian alignment gender like mistian with a more specific gender like ipinean to describe their gender: a mistian ipinean (or mistic ipinean) person would be someone who is fiaspec and feels related to forests and specifically pine forests.

It's important to note the specific nature of this system. Forests have aesthetics all on their own, but they're also associated with being intense, complete experiences of nature- like the aesthetics and joy of nature, but amplified and seemingly unending, and that intensity is the defining factor of genders in the Sylvian System. They aren't just related to the aesthetics of forests, but of a feeling of such deep, pure, resonating, and almost inexplicable connection to nature that they feel as if it almost is their gender and who they are. Someone who is sylvian may feel varying levels of that intensity, but it is the defining factor of genders in the Sylvian System: an intense, pure, and soul-binding connection to nature, so even if someone felt their gender was related to the aesthetics of forests, they wouldn't be sylvian if they didn't feel their gender also resonated with the deeper aesthetics of nature and would instead relate with genders from the Nadurian System that are just related to forests but not the intense gender experience of the Sylvian System.

    History

All the terms and flags for the Sylvian System were coined by FANDOM user Reign of the breadsticcs throughout the month of February 2021.

    Etymology

The term 'Sylvian' is a modification of the Latin word 'silva' meaning 'forest'.

    The Fleurian System

The main article for this system is The Fleurian System; not to be confused with The Floral System.

The third of the systems in The Nature Systems is the Fleurian System. Genders in this system are based around, related to, or aesthetically connected to flowers and their aesthetics, which include beauty, petals, magic, and beautiful colors, among others. The genders in this system can be generally related to flowers or related to a specific aspect type of flower as well as nature/flowers as a whole. The first set of fleurian genders are aligned general flowercore genders and include genders like gelean, a fiaspec fleurian gender, synamrian, a miaspec fleurian gender, and stelynian, a niaspec fleurian gender. The second set of fleurian genders contains specific flower-related genders such as sunfleurian (a gender related to sunflowers) and azaleic (a gender related to azaleas). If one feels aligned and related to a specific aspect of flowers, they could combine a general fleurian alignment gender like gelean with a more specific gender like sunfleurian to describe their gender: a gelean sunfleurian (or geleaic sunfleurian) person would be someone who is fiaspec and feels related to flowers/nature and specifically sunflowers.

    History

All the terms and flags from The Fleurian System were coined by FANDOM user Reign of the breadsticcs throughout the month of February 2021.

    Etymology

The term 'fleurian' comes from the French term 'fleur' meaning 'flower'.

    The Mystian System

The main article for this system is The Mystian System

The Mystian System flag by Reign of the breadsticcs

The final member of the Nature Systems is The Mystian System, and it is unique in that it is not aligned with any specific aspect of nature but instead is just aligned with magical aspects of nature. Because of that, genders in this system can be used as genders on their own, but also as descriptors for genders from all of the Nature Systems, not just its own. For example, if someone felt that their gender was related to peaceful nature magic and daffodils, they could use the mystian gender 'paxean' (a gender related to peaceful, calming nature magic) and the fleurian gender 'daffodilian' (a gender related to daffodils and their qualities) to describe their gender. The Mystian System consists of genders related to some aspect of natural magic, including genders like ciemnian (a gender related to obscure, shadowed nature magic) and vevesian (a gender related to chaotic nature magic).

Since genders in the Mystian System can be used to describe any gender related to nature, they can also be used as modifiers for nature-related genders that aren't part of any of The Nature Systems. For example, treegender is a floragender but is not part of any of the Nature Systems, but due to its connection to an aspect of nature, any mystian genders can still be used as modifiers for it.

The Mystian System is only for magic-related genders that are also nature-related, so not everyone whose gender is magical could identify with the system.

    History

All the terms and flags from The Mystian System were coined by FANDOM user Reign of the breadsticcs throughout the month of February 2021.

    Notes

Some genders in these systems may be confused with already existing floragenders (for example, the already existing rosegender and the fleurian gender roseian). However, the key difference between general floragenders and genders in The Nature Systems is that floragenders only describe a relation to that one specific aspect of nature (for example, daisygender only implies a connection to specifically daisies and their aesthetics), but all genders in The Nature Systems, even if they're more specifically related to a certain aspect or aspects of nature, still feel a general and encompassing connection to nature- their genders are not just one aspect of nature, but all encompassing with a specific focus or foci, so someone who identifies as rosegender wouldn't necessarily feel a connection to nature outside of roses, but someone who is roseian still would feel a solid connection to general nature and flowers.
