Miraigender is a xenogender in which ones gender is connected to items or concepts that predict the future or are related to the future or future itself. This includes tarot cards, time capsules, fortune cookies, future-related books or TV shows, or anything along the lines of a connection to the future. It can also be an aesthetigender connected to future-like aesthetics. If one wants to be more specific, they may say "tarot-miraigender" when their gender is connected to tarot cards, "fortune-miraigender" when their gender is connected to fortune cookies, etc.
History
Miraigender was coined by Kudorix on February 6th of 2021 through a request on Cryptocrew's wall.
Flag
The miraigender flag was coined on February 12th of 2021 by Cryptocrew. The shades of purple represent the mystery that future holds, white represents connection, grey represents identity and the vague hints of whats to come, and yellow represents strength and preparation. The eye represents items and things related to seeing the future, the clock represents things relating to time travel and time passing, while the yellow path represents walking down the path to ones inevitable future.
Etymology
The name comes from the Japanese word for future, which is mirai.
