Miragegender or miragender is an identity that is not quite clear enough to make out or understand fully. However, when one tries to look closer or figure it out, it fades or moves further away, like a mirage. People with this identity may have a rough idea of their gender, but not perfect. This means that they can identify as any gender, but they know that it isn't exactly right. This identity may also change over time. It is similar to genderfluid except one is always uncertain about one's gender identity on some level.

The flag was designed by FANDOM user QueerD!amond. It has many shades of blue, ranging from light st the top to dark at the bottom, and a gender symbol that fades towards the bottom. The colors have no meaning.
An alternative simplified design was also designed by QueerD!amond on the same day. It does not feature any fading on the symbol.
