    The Mewniac flag.

Mewniac (pronounced mew-nee-ick) is a term to describe when one or more of someone's queer identities (gender, sex, sexuality, romantic orientation, tertiary identity, amorous/gamous orientation, pronouns, etc), is effected by or connected to being from/growing up in Mewni.

The only individuals that may use this are system-members that came from/grew up in Mewni, people with kintypes/synpaths/hearttypes from Mewni, those who fictionflick to someone from Mewni, or similar alterhuman or plural experiences.

Some examples of how Mewni may effect ones identity includes, but is not limited to...

    • Someone who has a xenogender connected to their experience of Mewni's culture.
    • Someone who experiences manhood, womanhood, or enbyhood in a uniquely-Mewni way.
    • Someone who is teratosexual due to being kin or fictive to a character attracted to monsters in SVTFOE.
    • Someone who uses nounself pronouns relating to Mewni, due to having a strong cultural connection.

This is not to be used by exclusionists, sysmeds, transmeds, those with harmful 'sexualities', and similar.

A term for those who have a queer identity connected to Mewni through watching the SVTFOE TV show can be found on the dimenzic page.

    History

This term was coined by Star Butterfly Diaz J from Cryptocrew's system on June 14, 2021. It was coined through her Tumblr account, and was made to describe her experiences as a Mewman.[1]

    Flag

The flag was created by Star on June 15, 2021. The background colors are taken from a design on one of Star Butterfly's outfits, in order to represent Mewni's royalty and the Butterfly family. The four grey circles represents the moons that circle Mewni's orbit, while the rainbow represents magic and unique experiences that can be found within Mewni's culture.[2]
