Melauche is a xenogender based on maverique in that is not agender, but also not related to the binary genders in any way, and is based on a strong emotion. Melauche is a shy gender, it is characterized by someone wanting to hide who they are to avoid conflict or attention. Still, there is a sense of self in this gender, although it can feel melancholic or introverted at times. A person with this gender will keep it very close to themselves, and rarely shares it. The word comes from a combination of “melancholic” and “farouche”.

Melauche was coined by UniAnon on January 22, 2017[1] along with tragmat, jouine, orupin, and anler. The symbol for Pluto is used in the flag.
