    A manglegender flag
    The previous flag(without the teeth)
    Another manglegender flag
    The previous flag(without Mangle's face)

Manglegender is a xenogender with multiple definitions. In one definition, it is a mangled mess of other genders with a cutesy horror aesthetic, and is based off of Mangle from the Five Nights at Freddy's series. This definition falls under the aesthetigender umbrella.

One may also use this gender when they feel a connection to Mangle, or are kin to Mangle. This definition falls under the kingender umbrella.

It can also be defined as a gender otherwise related to Mangle from Five Nights at Freddy's in some way. For example, one may feel that Mangle represents their gender in a way that can't be described. As another example, it may be a gender identity based on feelings of gender euphoria, gender envy, or strong gender identification centering around Mangle.

These definitions may overlap or be used simultaneously.

    History

    Flag

The first two flags were created by Uncommongenderson January 17, 2018.[1]

Another flag design was created on May 2, 2022 by an individual who wishes to remain anonymous. There is a version with Mangle's face, as well as a version without it. The colors are based on colors that exist in Mangle's design: white/grey, pink, red, and yellow/orange. Beyond that, the meanings behind the stripes are left up to interpretation, and have no strict meaning. However, the creator of the flag personally defines the meanings of the stripes as such:

    • Orange: connection to Mangle from Five Nights at Freddy's
    • Yellow: gender euphoria
    • White: inclusivity and validation
    • Light Pink: gender non-conformity and genderf*cking
    • Pink: cute aesthetics
    • Red: detachment from humanity
    • Very dark red: horror
