    The mana flag.
    Mana flag with no symbol

Mana, or Manese is one of the base metals from the alloy alignment system based on manganese. It represents a gender that is, to some degree, connected to another aspect of one's life. One's gender may be connected to their sexual orientation, memories/experiences, self-discovery, alterhumanity, past life, religion, or some some other element that is beyond their person, but is still associated with their life as they experience it. How one expresses or experiences their gender is defined by them. A mana person can have any alignment or presentation.

    History

The original alloy alignment system was coined on December 1, 2018 by Hail, the original owner of the Tumblr blog lgbt-alchemy[1]. The term mana, however, was now in this original version of the system. Mana/Manese was coined on December 19, 2019 by Tired, the new owner of the blog, in a rework of the system[2].

The flag is based on the colors that Manganese glitters. The symbol used is the alchemical symbol for manganese.
