    Loquiromantic flag

Loquiromantic is an aro-spec orientation under the aliquaromantic umbrella defined as one's needs for personal interaction with another person before romantic attraction is felt. It is opposite to proculromantic, in which one only feels attraction to people they don't know personally. Loquiromantics need to be able to talk or at least interact with someone before they are able to feel romantic attraction towards that person. The sexual version is loquisexual.

It is important to note that just because a loquiromantic person knows someone that does not automatically mean that they are attracted to that person, it only means that there is a potential to feel attraction. Loquiromantic may overlap with, but is is not the same as demiromantic because demiromantics require a deep emotional bond to someone while loquiromantics only need to interact with them before attraction is felt. Loquiromantic also is similar to but not the same as noetiromantic because one does not need to have a mental or intellectual connection with the person before attraction is felt.

    Flag

The term was coined on January 6th, 2021 by noattractiononlyfroggie on the LGBTA+ Wiki. The flag was made at the same time with the help of Dxxnkichu. The baby blue at the top of the flag represents communication and interaction. The white represents the need for interaction before any attraction can be felt. The gray in the middle represents the "gray-space" that can be felt in some a-spec people, also meaning that loquiromanticism fits under grey-aromanticism in the aromantic spectrum. The two shades of green at the bottom represent the aromantic aspect of loquiromanticism as well as green is seen as the aro colors.
