    Kindligender flag
    Alternate kindligender flag.

    Kindligender is a xenogender and/or kingender in which one has a gender that is in some way related to fire, smoke, ashes, kindling, or similar concepts. This can be aesthetically linked, having a flame-related kingender, using fire as a metaphor for your gender, etc. It can be used as both an umbrella term and a lone term.

    The aquatic equivalent is Liquigender. The earth equivalent is Solidigender. The air equivalent is Flowgender. The ice equivalent is Glaciagender.

    History

    The term Kindligender was coined by a user going by Alex on December 12th, 2020.

    Flag

    The flag was coined by a user going by Alex on December 21st, 2020. The black represents ash, smoke, and empowerment, the red represents heat and metaphors, the orange represents flames and passion, the brown represents firewood/kindling and identity, the light brown represents flame-related species (mythical or not) and self-discovery, and the tan represents heat connected to objects (such as candles, stoves, ovens, etc) and peace in ones identity. The symbol represents the sun/stars and heat-based planets, and it also represents the universe as a whole, and the uniqueness of every individual. The alternate flag was created by wiki user Snotdrips on January 7, 2021.

    Etymology

    Kindli was taken from kindling stcks, which is a type of wood used to make fire.
