thumb|link=Kartic is a gender/xenogender in the Tavaline System connected to old cards one has been gifted and chooses to keep due to an emotional bond or something similar. This gender may feel special, simple but meaningful, connected to a loved one, or as though it holds a memory.

History

This term was coined by FANDOM user Ariathatsme on May 26, 2021 as an addition to the Tavaline System. The flag was designed on the same date by the same user, and the meaning is as follows: orange-grey to represent cards and old items, red for emotional significance, and blue for old memories and loved ones.

This term, however, was coined by a harmful user who faked systemhood, manipulated users, was exclusionist, and was endophobic. Because of this, people may be hesitant using this term, however it may be used in a reclaiming manner.

Etymology

The word kaart is both Frisian and Estonian for "card".
