Iridian refers to someone who is wlw, wlnb, nblnb, and nblw.
This can refer to:
- Individuals who are genderfluid and are sometimes non-binary and sometimes women
- Bigender or multigender people who are women or woman-aligned and non-binary at the same time, or
- Feminine-aligned non-binary person who feels connected to womanhood as well as being non-binary.
An iridian person is attracted to non-binary people and women and/or prioritizes their attraction to non-binary people and women over other attractions they may have. Iridian is an umbrella term, similar to diamoric, pluralian, enbian, and sapphic, though it can also be used as an identity by itself.
The toradonic equivalent is opalian.
History
The term was coined by Tumblr user wlwnblw, who is now deactivated. The term was likely coined around April 11, 2018[1]. The flag was also created by wlwnblw around the same time. The meaning of the flag is unknown.
