Implasexual or inexsexual is the state of never being satisfied with one's sexual orientation no matter how well it fits due to self-doubt. This causes one to compulsively search and seek out something that fits even better, to find "the orientation" or "the one truth." Often this is caused by a lack of words to describe one's sexuality or the paradoxical nature of one's orientation. This inability to find a "one true orientation" frequent causes self-doubt and can even cause the label implasexual to feel imperfect to the individual.
It is similar to xumsexual, though implasexual and inexsexual are not exclusive to neurodivergent people.
Etymology
Implasexual and inexsexual come from the Latin words implacatus and inexpletus respectively, which both mean unsatisfied.
History and Flag
Implasexual was coined by DeviantArt users Ash-Doggie, who also designed the flag, and Pride-Flags on July 5, 2016.[1] The black stripe is for a-spectrum, purple for sexual attraction and because the color is commonly used in ace-spec designs, and white for lack of attraction.
An alternate flag was designed by DeviantArt user lgbtrainbowdolls.[2] The purple stripe represents, a sense of knowledge and peace, the green an acknowledgement that one could never quite find the right term to fit their sexuality, and navy blue feeling that one is “done” trying to find the right term for their sexuality.
