Imaginesexual is an umbrella term for different sexual orientations that involve thinking about/imagining having sexual relationships with different genders. It is never just one person, but a specific gender. They can imagine anyone that identifies as that gender. An imaginesexual individual can have any amount of attraction to that gender/genders. The romantic counterpart is imagineromantic.
Monogender imaginesexual identities
- Imaginelesbian - a woman or woman-aligned individual who regularly imagines sexual relationships with other women/woman-aligned individuals.
- Imaginevincian - a man/male-aligned individual regularly imagines having sexual relationships with other men/man-aligned individuals.
- Imagineenbian - a non-binary/neutral-aligned individual regularly imagines having sexual relationships with other non-binary/neutral individuals.
Multigender Imaginesexual Identities
- Imaginebisexual - when one regularly imagines having sexual relationships with individuals of two or more different genders. It does not necessarily mean with a bigender individual, but typically with a large group of individuals that consists of two or more different genders.
- Imaginepansexual - when one regularly imagines having sexual relationships with individuals of all genders. This does not necessarily mean with a pangender individual, but typically with a large group of individuals consisting of all genders, without caring about the genders.
- Imagineomnisexual - when one regularly imagines having sexual relationships with individuals of all genders. This does not necessarily mean with a pangender individuals, but typically with a large group of individuals consisting of all genders. They may have a preference and imagine one gender more.
- Imaginepolysexual - when one regularly imagines having sexual relationships with individuals of more than two genders. It does not necessarily mean with a multigender individual, but typically a large group of individuals that consists of many genders.
- Imaginetrisexual - when one regularly imagines having sexual relationships with individuals of three genders. It does not necessarily mean with a trigender individual, but mainly typically a large group of individuals consisting of three different genders.
