    The imagigender flag.

Imagigender is a mathgender that exists on an alternate gender line perpendicular to the male-female gender line. Just as imaginary numbers range from -∞i (the negative imaginary infinitieth) to zero to ∞i (the positive imaginary infinitieth), the imagigender line ranges from one imaginary gender to agender to a second imaginary gender.

The proposed terms for imagigender people are "minus" when closer to the negative infinitieth and "plus" when closer to the positive.[1] However, preterbinary terms such as preterboy and pretergirl have been suggested as well as juxera and proxvir.

Just like in mathematics, imaginary here does not mean fake but instead that one's gender identity exists in a way that is observable but not nameable or fully understood in the existing gender binary. Like complexgender, imagigender is part of the complex gender plane.

    History and Flag

The term was coined by a Tumblr anon whose question and comments were posted by ask-pride-color-schemes on March 23, 2017.[2] The flag was created by FANDOM user Bluesprucedude on May 3, 2021. The flag has a black stripe shaped like the radical or square root symbol, uses magenta, an "imaginary" color, and has a similar shade of blood orange as the complexgender flag.
