Light Pink, Pink, Pale Purple, Black, and Hot Pink stripes stacked make up the Girlfluid Flag
Girlfluid Flag created by FANDOM user Hummingbee57

Girlfluid, also known as womanfluid, fluid female or genderfluid girl/woman/female, is a type of genderfluidity where one changes between female, neutral, androgynous, and genderless identities.

Their gender can change at random or it may vary in response to different circumstances and with different intensities, but it never encompasses male genders.

Girlfluid is very similar to girlflux and genderfaer and one can use it interchangeably with them, however it is a more specific type of genderfluidity and links the individual less to femininity and more to girlhood or the term of "girl" and "female".

    The male counterpart is Boyfluid.

Pink is a color typically associated with girl, and the different shades represents that no matter the intensity, there is most of the time a link to girlhood in some shape or form. Purple represents genders outside the binary, and black represents a lack of gender or a genderless identity.

    History

The term was coined on 24th October, 2021, by FANDOM user Hummingbee57.
