The genderblanket flag was coined on or before February 18, 2019 by Tumblr user transmedictaako.[1] The flag has no confirmed meaning.
The alternate flag was designed by Wikia FANDOM user Unicornian. The flag was created with the intent to redesign the original flag to be more pastel.[2]
The third flag was made by Tumblr user felix-makes-flags on December 11th, 2021.[3] It was made to mirror hys feelings towards being genderblanket, which ve did not feel the bright pink flags conveyed.
The fourth/fifth flags are alternative flags created by tumblr user quolove[4]. The flags centered more around the warmth of a cozy/fuzzy blanket.
