Evongender, also known as evenby or evon for short, is a gender where a non-binary individual's non-binary gender fades in and out to the point of being in a genderless/agenrine state, like in the water cycle. Any non-binary gender can be used with this label. It is also a sub label of evagender. Two of evagender's other sub labels also fall under the evongender label, which are nuvogender and mevogender.
History
The term was coined by Tumblr user nonbiarrow on July 3rd, 2021, with the flag created on the same date by the same user, as well as nuvogender and mevogender.
Flag
The black respresents the genderless/agenrine state as the individual’s gender fades away, the fading yellows show the non-binary gender evaporating up into the sky and then coming back up through the ground like in the water cycle.
An alternate flag was made by FANDOM user CandySkyez on January 18th, 2022.[1] The gradient represents the cycle of non-binary gender and genderlessness, with the yellow representing non-binary gender and the grey representing genderlessness.
