    The erosian flag.
    The alternate erosian flag.
    The lavender cake erosian flag.
Erosian is a term that is exclusive to black mlm and nblm. It is the sibling flag to the oshian flag and junian flag.

    History

The term was coined by Exclusionist[1] Twitter user 52zosan (now ASAPfugo) on August 19, 2021.

Because the creator of the Ocean Gay flag (Tumblr user gayflagblog and Twitter user gayflagtwit) was accused at the time of being potentially racist (a claim that was later extensively debunked by both the creator[2] and others[3]), the term and first flag were made for black mlm and nblm individuals who were tired of the discourse and wanted something that was just for them.

    Flag

The erosian flag has thirteen stripes. Purple represents having a creative soul and alignment with oneself, brown represents being honest with oneself/comfortable with one's sexuality, and light purple represents being compassionate with loved ones and trusting one's intuition.

The alternate flag has seven stripes with a rose in the center. Brown represents reliability. Orange represents optimism, creativity, and adventure. Red represents love, passion, and excitement. And the rose represents purity, mind cleansing, and confidence.

The lavender cake flag was created by Twitter user afrokagi around July 16, 2021. It has six stripes. Dark brown represents love and community. Brown represents history and solidarity. Light brown represents femininity. Light purple represents trans, non-binary, and gender non-conforming mlm folk. Purple represents masculinity. And dark purple represents ace/aro mlm folk.

    Etymology

The name deprives from Eros the Greek God of love, passion, and fertility, who is also the son of Aphrodite, the Greek Goddess of sexual love and beauty. Eros is a primeval God, while his brother Anteros is the God of mutual love.
