Enboy, also known as manby or guyby, is a term for someone who is a non-binary man. It can be used by anyone who identifies as both a boy/man and as non-binary. It can include multigender individuals with a non-binary gender and man/boy, gendervast individuals, individuals who are genderfluid or genderflux between non-binary and male, a male-aligned non-binary individual (or solarian), a neumale (neutrois male), etc.
It's similar to xoy. The feminine counterpart to enboy is girlby.
Demienboy
Demienboy (or demimenby or demiguyby) is a gender identity which can refer to a few different things, including but not limited to:
- Someone who is partly, but not entirely an enboy or non-binary boy.
- A multigender individual who is both demiboy and deminonbinary (they may also identify as other genders if they wish to).
- A monogender individual who feels their gender is a singular "fusion" of demiboy and deminonbinary.
- An individual whose gender is some percentage boy and some percentage non-binary, making both only partial components of their gender and therefore demigender components.
- A genderfluid individual who is fluid between demiboy and deminonbinary (they may also be fluid between other genders).
History
This term was coined by Tumblr user portugayse on May 31st, 2018.[1]
Flag
The flag was created by Tumblr user beyond-mogai-pride-flags at June 3, 2018.[2] It has no confirmed meaning.
An alternate flag was created by Accidental-Therapist[3] on or before May 20th, 2021.[4] The flags colors are meant to mimic the agender flag's layout, having a yellow stripe in the center for non-binary representation, while blue is the color associated with masculinity. From top to bottom; The darker blue is for those that Identify as partially Men/Male/BinaryMan. The lighter blue is for those that identify with Masculinity or Boyhood- not necessarily in a Cisgender or Binary way. The yellow stripe is for Nonbinary, as many variations of that there are; ranging from Agender to Neutrois to Xenogenders, anything non-binary is welcome with the Yellow. The white is the disconnect, or possible 'wiggle room' around the Nonbinary Yellow stripe, seeing as sometimes Enboy is part of Genderfluidity or a possible fusion of Demigenders.
The demienboy flag was created by FANDOM user Reign of the breadsticcs on or before March 25th, 2021.[5] It has no confirmed meaning.
Another demienboy flag was created by Tumblr user IMOGA-Pride on November 30, 2018.[6] It has no confirmed meaning.
