Dodransgender is a subset of demigender in which one's gender is exactly three fourths a given gender and one fourth something else. The prefix dodrans- may be combined with any other gender to form terms like dodransboy, dodransgirl, dodransnonbinary, etc. The remaining fourth can be any gender or combination of genders, or the complete lack of gender. If the remaining fourth is occupied by only one gender, one may also identify as quartergender.
History
The term was coined on January 7, 2016 by Tumblr user Autisticlapis through an ask to nandbaremyfavouriteletters.[1]
Flag
The flag was created on or before September 8, 2020 and it is unknown who created it.[2] It has no confirmed meaning.
The meaning of the alternate dodransgender flag, designed by FANDOM user Reign of the breadsticcs on April 1, 2021,[3] is that the three purple stripes represent the 3/4 of one's gender identity being one gender (purple being a common color to represent gender), and the one yellow stripe represents the 1/4 of one's gender identity being "something else" (yellow being a color commonly used to describe "other" or "outside" genders).
