    The first official conromantic flag.

Conromantic is the orientation which suggests one is romantically attracted to someone the more they resemble themselves. Someone's presentation, personality and potentially other characteristics might play a part in someone's desire to create a partnership. This may or may not be specific; for example, an androgynous demigirl might have attraction for fellow demigirls, or it may go as far as (or even further with) androgynous demigirls, etc. This differs from having a preference because it can be an exclusive attraction or involve pronouns, expression, etc. Conromantic can be an aro-spec (aka con-aro) or allo orientation, depending on the amount of similarity it takes to be attracted in the first place which provides a lot of flexibility.

The opposite to conromantic is consexual.

    History and disclaimers

The term was coined in late 2021 by somemaniac (username disowned), who originally intended to create an orientation that shows exclusive attraction without harming other labels, though that idea has been scrapped to avoid labels like "con-lesbian" from appearing - this means that an exclusive attraction to one gender alone does not count as conromantic. The flag has been heavily inspired by the traditional representations of love and harmony, aka green and pink.
