Colorbargender, also known as testcardgender, is a label for those who feel the need to "calibrate" or reassess and possibly change their gender identity, essentially "testing" their identities to make sure they are accurate. It can be described as "self-doubt, the gender".
A secondary definition could be a gender that may be connected to colorbars or influenced by an interest or hyperfixation on technology/display or technology/colorbars itself.
Can be used by those who are monogender or multigender. Originally coined with neurodivergent individuals in mind, but can be used by anyone.
Similar terms include implagender and xumgender.
