    Alternative pastel chaosgender flag
Gradient Chaosgender flag created by FANDOM users Dxxnkichu.

Chaosgender is a xenogender defined as when one's gender does lots of confusing things and doesn’t make sense to anyone. It can be thought of as a very complex gender, a very fluid gender, a gender which is difficult to understand, or a gender which is hard to fully pin down or describe in one word. Chaosgender may be used as a standalone term, or it can be used in addition to other terms. It can also be used as a modifier by combining it with other identities (chaosboy, chaosgirl, chaosnonbinary, etc.)

    History

Chaosgender was introduced as late as July of 2016, though it may have been coined earlier than that. It was coined by Tumblr user ihatecispeople.

    Flags

The origin of the original flag is unknown, but it was likely created in the year 2016 or earlier. A chaotic shape covers the flag, inverting each color into its opposite.

The second flag was created in July of 2016 by DeviantArt user Pride-Flags. A large 'X' symbol covers the flag, inverting each color into its opposite.

The third flag was created by an anonymous Wiki user in October of 2020. The number of stripes was randomly generated, as well as the colors used for those stripes. The stripes are various sizes, and the colors are flipped/on opposite sides. This flag was designed as an alternative that would be easier on the eyes, while still conveying chaos.

The soft chaos flag was designed by an anonymous Wiki user in October of 2020. It is the same as the previous flag, but the colors are pastel. This flag was designed for chaosgender individuals who consider themselves or their gender to be soft, as well as chaosgender individuals who appreciate the soft/pastel aesthetic.

Swirl Alternative Chaosgender flag created by FANDOM user Ranboomybelovedunderscore

The gradient chaosgender flag was coined to show the spectrum of chaosgender with the shades being in a stripped gradient. The gradients for each color changing if it'd start more saturated or not shows the confusing aspect of chaosgender. The gradients also represent the gender being fluid. The difficulty to understand chaosgender is represented by the different widths of the lines being random, in no practical order. It was coined by FANDOM users Dxxnkichu on January 1, 2021.

Alternative Swirl Chaosgender flag with an added X, ?, messy ball of swirls and two arrows going against eachother also by FANDOM user Ranboomybelovedunderscore

The other alternative chaosgender flag was made by FANDOM user Ranboomybelovedunderscore on July 7, 2021. The red meaning chaos, the blue meaning freedom, as in the ability to let loose and free, the green meaning safety, as in feeling safe to feel chaos/chaotic/or chaos itself, the yellow meaning energy, and the spiral to represent the undying swirl of chaos and its difficulty to understand and control it.

The alternative swirl chaosgender flag with more symbols and same color pallate. The question mark being its difficulty to understand it, the X meaning either not being able to control it or not being able to stop it, to let it free, the messy ball meaning chaos itself, and the arrows going against each other meaning not being able to cooperate. Made also by FANDOM user Ranboomybelovedunderscore on July 15, 2021
