Chameleoromantic is a romantic orientation wherein someone wishes to be treated as a woman when interacting romantically with men and as a man when interacting romantically with women. It may be used interchangeably with iamvanoromantic and placioromantic referring to when one prefers to receive or perform romantic acts based on the gender of their partner, for example desiring to perform romantic acts on women, but not receive them, and desiring to receive romantic acts from men, but not perform them. It can also be interpreted as being similar to omnistraight.
The sexual counterpart to chameleoromantic is chameleosexual.
History
Chameleosexual was coined by Drake Bear Stephen in his book Soul Sex: The Alchemy of Gender & Sexuality[1].
