Bi-sapphic, bisexual sapphic, or sapphic bisexual defines a woman, woman-aligned and/or non-binary individual who is bisexual, as well as sapphic. One may prioritize their attraction to women or woman-aligned people for various reasons, such as having a strong preference for women or women-aligned people, feeling little or weak attraction to other genders, etc.

History

The term bi sapphic has been used in sapphic spaces for at least a number of years.

Flags

The two first bi sapphic flags were designed by tumblr user packitandgo on September 30, 2018. An alternate bi-sapphic flag was designed by AllieThePrince on July 28th, 2021. It is a combination of the sapphic flag and the bisexual flag. The pink stripe represents same gender attraction, lavender represents attraction to two or more genders, and the purple stripe on the bottom represents attraction to other genders.
