Beangender is a xenogender that has two different main definitions:
- A foodgender/gastrogender that is related to beans. It can be any kind of bean: pinto beans, kidney beans, black beans, lima beans, etc. It can be related to the taste of beans, how beans grow, a food with beans in them, or whatever the user feels that is related to beans.
- A gender that is related to the slang term "bean," usually used to describe someone who is soft, cute, cuddly, innocent, etc. One's gender may feel soft, fluffy, or cuddly.
History
The term was first coined on March 15, 2020 by Meiko-is-Shifting, and the flag was created by the same user. The stripes of the flag are meant to represent the colors of beans. The alternate flag's colors are pastel and represent cuteness.
