Axogender is a gender identity where the individual relates to, is connected to, is influenced by, or identifies strongly with, or strongly appreciates axolotls. It is a xenogender, commonly used by neurodivergent people, but can be used by anyone. It is a faunagender and may also be a kingender.

They are also revolved around being friendly, sensitive, gentle, and caring, many things of which an axolotl is. Light grey represents being soothing and calming, recognizing the axolotl's nature of being seen as a calm, relaxed creature. Light purple represents mystery, axolotls are seen in a mysterious way, and rarity, recognizing the rarity of an axolotl Light green represents life, nature, energy, all things connected to the axolotl.
