Arsongender is a gender identity in which one doesn't connect with, or believe in one's gender and experiences a feeling of wanting to "burn it all down".
History
The term was coined in a Reddit post by u/small_brain_gay on September 30, 2020, in an attempt to upset those who believe in transmedicalism.[1]
Flag
The same user created the arsongender flag in the same post. The black stripes represents ashes, the red stripes represent fire, the yellow stripes represent being out of the pink-blue binary, and the white stripes represent a lack of gender.
The alternate version of the flag was created by FANDOM user RuskiRiri on May 16, 2021. The alternate version includes grey stripes to represent the blurry or smoky disconnect between arsongender individuals and their gender.[2]
