Aroflexible or Flexible Aromantic refers to those who are mostly aromantic with one or two cases of romantic attraction. Another defintion is one who is aromantic and occasionally experience romantic attraction; however, the attraction they experience is so little and/or rare that they consider themselves aromantic with fluidity. This would fit the "little to no attraction" definition of aromanticism. It is sometimes given the same definition as dark greyromantic.
An additional definition is when one is aromantic,but is willing to experiment or try romantic love or relationships. One may also prefer calling themselves aroflexible rather than greyromantic if they are enigmaromantic and can't identify what genders they're attracted too and experience their attraction too infrequently. One may also feel aroflexible fits better than greyromantic because they're desinoromantic and experience liking but not loving someone.
The sexual counterpart is aceflexible.
History
Aroflexible was coined by AVEN user Starbit on an AVEN thread dedicating to discussing and expanding terms related to asexuality and aromanticism. It was later recoined by Tumblr user pride-flags-for-us on June 20th, 2016 and was given an added definition by goldsgenderstuff on May 17th, 2017. The flag was made on the same day
