Aroamory is a aro-spec identity where someone exhibits a lack of romantic interest, and does not want a romantic relationship. Individuals who identify as aroamorous may exhibit a lack of interest in romantic relationships, romantic actions, and general discussion of romantic topics. This is the opposite of aspectusromantic.
History
The creator of the term is disputed, with some sources saying that the term was coined by deactivated Tumblr user straightasanaro[1] and others saying that the term was coined by Tumblr user aspiring-to-wisdom-inactive.[2]
Flag
The aroamory flag was designed by DeviantArt user NonMonoPrideFlags on February 5, 2017. The flag's color meanings are currently unknown.[3]
