Alloromish, also known as allorom-ish, is a term that is defined mainly as being on the aromantic spectrum but finding that one's experiences align with/is closest to alloromanticism.
Other definitions include:
- being uncomfortable with the alloromantic label for any reason despite experiencing allo-aligned/close to alloromantic attraction,
- being on the cusp between being alloromantic and being aromantic.
These are not the only definitions; this label is open to anyone who identifies with it.
Its aromantic counterpart is aroish, its asexual counterpart is aceish, and its allosexual counterpart is alloxish.
This label was coined by LGBTQIA+ Wiki User -icarus- on March 14, 2023 using its Tumblr account. It gave credit to LGBTQIA+ Wiki user CISBOY for helping it create the definition.
The flag was created on the same post the term was coined, and was intended to be a counterpart to the aroish flag.
The black to white gradient stands for being alloromantic, and the purple stands for the disconnect with the alloromantic label.
