Afisgodgender is a xenogender that feels hazy, dreamlike, or is hard to conceptualize, but vaguely god-like/divine due to neurodivergence and/or their kintype. Only neurodivergent individuals may identify as such, but one does not have to be otherkin to be afisgodgender.
Etymology
Afis- comes from the Greek “ασαφής”/“asafís”, meaning hazy.
History
Afisgender was coined on July 27th 2020 by Androidic on Tumblr. The term "Godgender" is said to have been coined by Michael Kazik in 2018, but the concept is much older than the name.
The combined term "Afisgodgender" was first noticed to be coined by FANDOM user YumiOfTheAces on May 12 2021 in a Discord direct message.
Flags
The Afisgender flag is a five striped flag created on September 7th 2020 by Queerso on Tumblr. The outer stripes are mint green, the middle stripes are cyan, and the inner stripe is sky blue. There are three pastel mint circles over the inner stripe, each outlined with the same sky blue.
The Afisgodgender flag was made by FANDOM user YumiOfTheAces on May 12 2021 and is both of the flags combined, with the Godgender in the circles of the Afisgender flag.
