Affectipupian was coined by FANDOM user Reign of the breadsticcs on April 27th, 2021 for FANDOM user ASadNerdTM, with both flags and their meanings being created at the same time. It was based on affecticatian, coined by Tumblr user orxngecrxsh.[1]

The flag's color meanings are as follows: purple is for affection, periwinkle is for loyalty, baby yellow is for puplike affection, orange is for domesticity, and red-orange is for dogs and puppies. It is based on the affecticatian flag by Tumblr user orxngecrxsh.
