History
The term was coined by FANDOM user Cryptocrew, specifically Arwen, on March 19, 2021, in order to describe his experiences, and the experiences of others as well.
Flag
The intekänsla flag was created by FANDOM user Unfunny person420. Dark red represents intense attraction. The fuchsia represents the effect that extreme attraction has on someone, ranging from their gender identity to relationships, as well as other experiences. White represents the unique experiences one has because of their intense attraction, whether it be romantic, sexual, platonic, tertiary, etc. The light yellow represents how it can sometimes be a xenogender, depending on if it affects someone’s gender or not. The thin red line is to add more to the flag's aesthetic.
Etymology
The name was taken from the word intense and is combined with the Swedish word for feeling, which is känsla.
