Mono-spec (or the monoattractional spectrum) is an umbrella term for those who only experience one form of physical/emotional allo-attraction. Someone on the monoattractional spectrum might experience more than one form of attraction; however, how they experience that attraction or the amount they experience would fall on the a-spectrum. Examples of identities on the a-spectrum include "a-", "grey-", "demi-", "fray-", etc.
A mono-spec individual would fall under all of the following except one:
- The asexual spectrum
- The aromantic spectrum
- The asensual spectrum
- The aplatonic spectrum
- The nonaesthetic spectrum
- The analterous spectrum
- The aqueerplatonic spectrum
Someone who is mono-spec might also be considered aphys-spec, aemo-spec, and/or ater-spec, depending on what form of allo-attraction they experience.
History

Flag
The mono-spec flag was inspired by the monoattraction flag. It has five stripes: purple, green, orange, yellow, and pink. The meanings are the same as the monoattraction flag. Purple represents sexual attraction, green represents romantic attraction, orange represents sensual attraction, yellow represents platonic attraction, and pink represents aesthetic attraction. A triangular portion of the flag has been put in greyscale to represent the a-spectrum.
